I'm a Faroese physicist living in Copenhagen. I work as a Data Scientist at one of the worlds largest pension funds ATP=, in a small unit which focuses on optimizing payouts of social benefits by catching fraudulent and erroneous payments of said benefits. We do this by applying statistical models - currently mostly unsupervised machine learning algorithms - on big data. Previously I worked as a data analyst & programmer at ConWX ApS, a private power/meteocean forecasting company, doing a variety of tasks including analysis of weather- and wind power production data. In my spare time I spend time with my daughter and girlfriend and am taking a Data Scientist Nanodegree from Udacity.
I'm passionate about data science and machine learning and love to see interesting visualizations of various phenomenon

I graduated from Copenhagen University in 2015 with a MSc in Physics, where I defended my master's thesis, "Inflammation of the Central Nervous System, Modeling Multiple Sclerosis as a Motile Excitable Medium", which I had written under the supervision of Mogens Høgh Jensen, Ala Trusina, and with a very good collaborative work with PhD Thomas Holst-Hansen from the Niels Bohr Institute.
While studying I worked as a Student Assistant at Ramboll, where I created specialized Excel worksheets with VBA, dynamic PDF stamps with JavaScript, and developed energy calculation programs for sustainable buildings in C++. From working there I gained a lot of experience with developing VBA scripts for engineers and designing worksheets/workbooks.
